I’m a Firefighter, personal trainer and family man so keeping fit is a big part of my life! From my own personal experience I know first hand how transforming your appearance can change your life. When and why did you start working in the fitness industry?
I started in the industry as a personal trainer in 2010 as I had the unique opportunity to turn my hobby into my employment, how many people could do that!
I've always loved exercise and conditioning ever since I started playing rugby as a child which pointed me in the direction of my chosen degree which I studied at the University of Glamorgan.
What are your specialities and preferred methods?
I believe in sticking to what works and skip the endless nonsense produced in this industry to make a quick buck, you companies know who you are!!
The quickest way to reach your goals whether it beg lose weight, reduce body fat, improve endurance, increase strength, etc is done believe or not in a very similar way! It's achieved by combing free weights, high intensity interval and circuit training, the rest is down to you and what you produce in the kitchen, it's really that SIMPLE!!! Forget everything you've been told about quick fixes, fad diets and detoxes.....PLEASE!!
What are your hobbies and interests?
Outside the gym I'm a big sports fan and being born and bred in West Wales rugby is obviously on top of the list! I also enjoy reading, eating out and spending time with the family!
What is your favourite healthy meal, and cheat meal?
Healthy: Fillet steak with Mediterranean veg
Cheat: Pizza, preferably Dominos!!
